suomiversio tiivistettynä lopussa! okay, so when i got my latest shipment of succulents, i noticed the graptoveria was a bit off. i thought it was just upset from being in a container for a week but after a few days, i noticed white fluff between the leaves. thought it was mold, wiped it away and hoped for the best. the leaves also started looking increasingly... not wrinkly but definitely not supple. they felt kind of squishy when i touched them gently. not only that, but the bottom leaves were drying out and pups were trying to squeeze out all over! so now that i have my most laborous school projects (and the subsequent post-stress migraine) out of the way, i thought i'd try to separate the pups and generally look into the plant's state. 

somebody shared a photo of their haul from giromagi in the finnish succulent facebook group. i'm not exactly sure why i was compelled to order 9 (NINE) succulents all the way from italy... i remember thinking "if i want to order, i should do it soon before it's too cold for succulents to be shipped" and redoing the order three times before finally caving in. suomalaisessa mehikasvi-harrastajat fb-ryhmässä sain vihiä eräästä italialaisesta mehikasvi- ja kaktusputiikista, nimeltään giromagi. eräs ryhmän jäsen oli tilannut tusinan ihania kasveja, mutta en tiedä mikä mielenhäiriö minuun iski kun tein tilauksen. pyörittelin tilausta monta kertaa ja viimein korissa oli 9 mehikasvia 30 euron edestä. postimaksut olivat 25 euroa, toimituksen hoiti DHL erittäin ripeästi. kasvit lähetettiin perjantaina italiasta ja jo lauantaina pakettia yritettiin toimittaa meille. olimme kuitenkin kaupassa toimitushetkellä, joten paketti jäi saamatta eikä ovella ollut mitään lappua tai muuta ...
